Roles and Responsibility

Basic Function:


  1. This position is responsible for supporting a variety of Global Procurement systems including SAP, PowerBI, Supplier Management Platform suite (aka Jaggaer), electronic communication interfaces (EDI/XML) and any other related data collection/reporting systems. 
  2. Additonal responsibilities include implementation of global policies within procurement systems, performance reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, system user training, system issue diagnosis and resolution and other projects.   
  3. Strong communication skills will be essential, as will having the ability to work alone or part of a team. 


Role and Responsibility:


  • Responsible for procurement system user training, issue diagnosis and resolution for all Kohler businesses.
  • Responsible for identifying process & systems improvement solutions for the purchasing function, integrating global best practice & streamlining processes.
  • Work collaboratively with analysts, buyers, functional areas and management on specific projects and new technology implementations as needed.
  • Lead other ad hoc projects on a local, regional or global basis in a timely and professional manner.
  • Some travel may be required from time to time as needed for training or projects.


Experience requirement:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field, or the combination of education, training and/or experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of PC operating systems and procurement/general business processes and applications.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in data mining and systems issue diagnosis with proven skills in problem solving / troubleshooting preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written skills is required.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests is required.
  • Basic project management experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products like Word, advanced Excel, Access,

Outlook and Data Warehouse.
